Anya Geraldine and Omar Daniel bring a sweet dynamic as they star in the music video for “Terpesona” by BCL (Bunga Citra Lestari) and Josh Flo. The music video was written and directed by Bernardus Raka & Sarahdiva Rinaldy, and presents the sweet story of two childhood friends who meet again as adults.

The song “Terpesona” was released on 21 August 2026 on all digital streaming platforms. It was inspired by the stories of many people who are captivated by the person they have set their hearts on, but find it difficult to express.

In the music video, that narrative is sweetly translated through the story of two childhood friends who are captivated by each other, with those feelings remaining the same when they meet again as adults.

“I really love the vision brought by Bernardus Raka & Sarahdiva Rinaldy in translating the song ‘Terpesona’ into sweet visuals about two childhood friends who meet again as adults. Like a reunion that brings back an old story,” said Bunga Citra Lestari in a press release from POPLICIST Publicist.

“Anya and Omar were able to convey the sentimental feelings of two childhood friends who had not met for a long time and finally meet again as adults, with the same old feelings,” explained director Bernardus Raka.

“I tried to capture what the song ‘Terpesona’ wants to convey in visuals that feature many intimate moments between the two friends, so that they ultimately have the opportunity to show their feelings in reality,” he continued.

Anya Geraldine, who has now appeared in many feature films, shared her experience of collaborating with Omar Daniel and Bernardus Raka, as well as BCL, in the music video for “Terpesona.”

“It feels really great to be able to present such a sweet dynamic in the music video for ‘Terpesona.’ I really love the song, and it resonates strongly with many people, because we often keep special feelings to ourselves when we are captivated by someone we are actually already sure is the one. The visuals and story in the music video strengthen the song,” said Anya.

For Omar Daniel, starring in the music video for “Terpesona” felt like revisiting sweet and innocent moments from youth, when we had simple feelings of being captivated by someone.

“I feel that the story in the music video for ‘Terpesona’ resonates with many people who have had feelings kept inside for a long time, such as feelings for a crush during their teenage years, or perhaps when we have grown into adults and meet someone about whom we are already very sure that they are the one,” said Omar Daniel.

The music video for “Terpesona” was filmed at Ancol Taman Impian, which also supported the production by presenting #RuteTerpesona. It is a route that reflects a romantic journey along the Jakarta shoreline.

The music video for “Terpesona” has been released on the @ITSMEBCL YouTube channel, and the single “Terpesona” can be listened to on all digital streaming platforms.

The song “Terpesona” is special because BCL invited Top 5 Indonesian Idol 2026, Josh Flo, to be her duet partner. The single is also a full circle moment for the two of them, since they met on the Indonesian Idol Season 14 competition.

From the early audition rounds, Josh had already captivated BCL, and now the two are presenting an unexpected work. Written and composed by the producer trio Laleilmanino, “Terpesona” was inspired by the stories of many people who are captivated by the person they have set their hearts on, but find it difficult to express.

Laleilmanino had previously also successfully created the song Badai Telah Berlalu, which was also sung by BCL in 2023.

“The song ‘Terpesona’ is about a feeling that arises when we find someone who somehow makes us feel something different. There is a sense of comfort when we are with them, a feeling that makes us always want to be close and get to know that person better,” explained BCL.

“Sometimes that feeling is even difficult to explain or express in words, but we know there is something about them that makes us unable to look away.
