Bali emerged as the Champion of the 2026 English Lomba Debat Indonesia (LDI) after reaching the Grand Final and winning the Gold Medal in the Championship category.

In the official announcement shown at the closing of the 2026 English LDI, the Bali team was strengthened by three debaters:

Putu Indira Putri Sena

Nadine Tirza Amadea Riwu Kore

Edgar Wirasasmita

All three were recorded as members of the Bali team that won the Champion title and brought home the Gold Medal.

In the Grand Final, Bali faced the West Java team, which was strengthened by Christiano Immanuel Uniwaly, Gracio Bintang Wijaya, and Samuel Nathan Andriawan.

The final result placed Bali in first position, while West Java earned the 1st Runner-Up position and the Silver Medal.

In addition to the team achievement, two members of the Bali team were also recorded on the list of the 15 Best Speakers of the 2026 English LDI.

Edgar Wirasasmita ranked as the 2nd Best Speaker and received the Gold Medal in the Best Speaker category.

Meanwhile, Nadine Tirza Amadea Riwu Kore ranked as the 15th Best Speaker and received the Bronze Medal.

The Championship announcement also placed Banten and Kepulauan Riau as Co-2nd Runner-Up with the Bronze Medal.

With this result, the top four standings of the 2026 English LDI Championship were Bali as Champion, West Java as 1st Runner-Up, and Banten and Kepulauan Riau as Co-2nd Runner-Up.

Bali’s success in becoming Champion, while also placing Edgar Wirasasmita second among the Best Speakers, was part of the series of results announced at the 2026 English LDI.
