El Putra Sarira has officially introduced his debut single, “Memoria”, a song about memories and the people who hold an important place in our lives. More than just a love story, “Memoria” speaks more broadly about how a relationship, friendship, or phase of life can come to an end, without the memories within it having to disappear as well.
For El, “Memoria” marks the beginning of his musical journey. The song was born from his first workshop with Petra Sihombing, Mohammed Kamga, and Iqbal Siregar. The creation process took relatively little time.
Within approximately one to two hours, the idea brought into the workshop developed into a song that was then further produced. Although the initial process happened quickly, “Memoria” did not immediately find its final form.
One part that underwent several changes was the refrain. El said that the section was made in three to four versions before finally reaching the form considered most appropriate.
El himself was involved in writing the lyrics and in the creative process of the song. The song conveys a broader picture of memory, of what remains when a relationship or phase of life has ended.
This spirit is also reflected in a lyric excerpt that is one of the emotional cores of “Memoria”: “Don’t be sad when it ends, but be glad that it ever happened.” For that reason, El does not want “Memoria” to appear merely as a sad song about loss.
Instead, he wants to bring a warmer feeling, about making peace with something that has ended while appreciating that there was once a beautiful moment shared together.
The journey of “Memoria” then developed through the Instagram account @monolognada, which serves as a space for El to deliver monologues while also telling stories about his musical journey and process.
Through @monolognada, El wants to bring the public closer to the stories and characters that exist behind his music. This concept is also a way for El to distinguish himself as a person from the characters in the stories, one of whom is Rama, who is part of the world of “Memoria”.

Through Rama’s point of view, listeners are invited to see how someone confronts the beautiful memories they have. The world of @monolognada is also connected to the music video for “Memoria”, which features the characters Rama and Yara.
The initial idea for the story came from El and was then further developed with director Dian Tamara. The creative process for this music video involved many discussions to find the right way to represent the song “Memoria” visually.
One location that forms part of Rama’s journey is Batukaras, with its cliff and sea landscape helping to build the atmosphere of the story. The elements of flowers and the sea are also present as visual symbols in Rama’s journey when he returns to Batukaras and confronts the various memories he has.
“I hope that ‘Memoria’ can be well received and enjoyed with an open heart by everyone who listens to it, including my supporters,” said El.
“I also hope that this song can become a space for anyone to remember someone, a place, or a moment that is meaningful in their life. And of course, I hope that after this they will continue to look forward to my next works,” he continued.
El, who was born in Manokwari on 30 December 2003, often made song covers since high school and continued developing his interest in singing. Although he did not pursue formal vocal education, his love of singing and writing led him to choose music as part of his career journey.
El is also known for his role as Rangga in the film Rangga & Cinta. In the film, El also performed two songs, namely “Suara Hati Seorang Kekasih” and “Tentang Seseorang”. Through “Memoria”, El is now taking the next step by introducing his musical journey as a singer and musician.
El Putra Sarira’s debut single, “Memoria”, was officially released on 24 September 2026 and can be listened to on various digital streaming platforms. The music video for “Memoria” can also be watched through the Trinity Optima Production YouTube channel. (Henry)
