St. Bellarminus School Jakarta and Bekasi, through IKABELLS (Bellarminus Alumni Family Association), staged a musical drama titled “JUJUR ITU CINTA” on 27 September 2026. This musical drama tells a story themed around Honesty and Solidarity, performed by students of Bellarminus School Jakarta and Bekasi. The performance was warmly welcomed by the Foundation, teachers, and parents, who also appreciated the students’ hard work in presenting the 120-minute musical drama, staged in two performances.
The grand performance held by the Santo Bellarminus Alumni Association took place in two sessions—at 13.00 WIB and 19.00 WIB—as a commemoration of 71 years of the Santo Bellarminus Foundation’s contribution and 34 years of Bellarminus Bekasi in Indonesian education.
As a tangible form of support for advancing education at Santo Bellarminus School Jakarta and Bekasi, the Bellarminus Alumni Family Association (IKABELLS) collaborated with Teater Koma. Hopefully, this musical drama, which served as a platform for showcasing the students’ abilities, can demonstrate creativity, competence, and adaptability to global change through art. This activity was not merely a performance, but also a forum for nurturing the nation’s younger generation to continue creating, so that they can remain competitive and uphold the good name of their alma mater.
This grand performance involved 118 students, who built intensive synergy starting in August 2026. The distribution of roles was carefully arranged: students of Santo Bellarminus Senior High School Jakarta explored the strength of acting and the sharpness of dialogue, while students of Santo Bellarminus Elementary and Junior High Schools Bekasi led the aesthetics of dance choreography and vocal training.

The performance’s director, Paulus, stated that this creative process demonstrated the high dedication of all those involved despite being faced with limited time.
“We made use of two effective months of rehearsal to coordinate 118 students from two branches. The limited time did not diminish the quality of the stage aesthetics,” Paulus stressed.
This Musical Drama presented a combination of acting, dance, lighting, music, and stage design, packaged in an emotional and grand manner. It was, of course, supported by a highly credible venue: the Teater Besar Taman Ismail Marzuki, Cikini, Central Jakarta. Jujur itu Cinta tells a story of loss, hope, and the journey home. The narrative was conveyed through the performances of the cast and performers, who successfully created a memorable atmosphere on stage.
In addition to the main performance, the audience also enjoyed various supporting activities, such as a tenant area, documentation sessions, and interactions with the performers after the event. Through performing arts, IKABELLS hopes to continue presenting creative works as spaces for appreciating art, developing students’ talents, and providing entertainment for students, pupils, and alumni.
The performance, directed by Rangga Riantiarno, seemed to guarantee grandeur, considering the many performances he has led. “Much has been gained while studying at St. Bellarminus, including things related to the world of art. Hopefully, the actors in this musical drama will remember this artistic event as something good, which will become part of the foundation of their lives in the future,” added Rangga, who is also an alumnus of St. Bellarminus Junior High School.

The success of this performance did not end as a one-night celebration. The organizers officially announced their commitment to making similar artistic performances a regularly scheduled agenda under the title Bellshow Musical.
This strategic step demonstrates the Santo Bellarminus Foundation’s consistent commitment to nurturing a younger generation that is not only academically excellent, but also honest in character, courageous in defending the truth, and sensitive to the suffering of others.
In the end, stage art returned to its highest dignity: not merely an entertainment pleasing to the eye, but also moral guidance that knocks on the human conscience. Amid a crisis of exemplary role models, the young people of Santo Bellarminus have proven that honesty is the highest form of love, and from the stage of TIM, that light of empathy was fully ignited.
