Director of PT Sari Coffee Indonesia, the official Starbucks licensee in Indonesia, Anthony Mc Evoy, expressed sympathy for the people of Flores affected by the disaster.

According to him, care and solidarity are important for communities facing loss and uncertainty. The support is expected to help residents find strength as they go through the recovery process.

The Starbucks Foundation partnered with World Central Kitchen because the humanitarian organization has experience in disaster response and the ability to rapidly mobilize food assistance. WCK also has a network of local partnerships that supports the distribution of assistance in various regions of Indonesia.
