Chocolatos, an Indonesian packaged food and beverage brand under PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (Garudafood), has officially become the Official Sponsor of BK8 Gresini Racing for the 2026 and 2027 MotoGP seasons.

This partnership makes Chocolatos the first Indonesian packaged food and beverage brand to become the official sponsor of BK8 Gresini Racing, as well as the first brand from Southeast Asia in its category to partner with the team.

The collaboration, which was announced in February 2026, is entering an important moment ahead of MotoGP Mandalika on 9–11 October 2026. Through this partnership, Chocolatos carries the spirit of “Uplift Your Mood, Level Up Your Journey”, inviting consumers to enjoy every step of the journey before moving on to the next stage.

“This partnership stems from the shared spirit of Chocolatos and BK8 Gresini Racing. For us, the journey is not only about reaching the destination, but also about enjoying every step of the process,” said Fransiskus Johny Soegiarto, Commercial Director of Garudafood.

The partnership also strengthens Chocolatos’ efforts to expand its global reach. Chocolatos is currently present in more than 20 countries, with a focus on Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The collaboration with Gresini Racing provides access to a MotoGP fan base that reached 632 million globally in 2025.

For Gresini Racing, the partnership is an opportunity to strengthen its relationship with fans in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The Chocolatos identity will appear on a number of team assets, ranging from racing bike liveries, riders’ racing leathers, pit-box panels, operational vehicles, to hospitality facilities throughout the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

Gresini Racing riders Alex Márquez and Fermín Aldeguer are also part of this collaborative journey. The spirit of “Level Up Your Journey” is considered aligned with their journeys as they face challenges and continue to develop in the world of racing.

Nearly two decades after its launch in 2007 as a chocolate wafer stick, Chocolatos has also continued to expand its product portfolio. In addition to Chocolatos Rich, the brand offers Ready-to-Serve, Ready-to-Drink, and Chocolatos Pillow categories.

Chocolatos is also developing consumer experiences through Chocolatos X-Quest, an edutourism attraction based on immersive 5DX-perience LED technology at the Garudafood facility in Sumedang, West Java.

Through its partnership with Gresini Racing, Chocolatos is now bringing its innovation journey to the global sports stage while introducing an Indonesian brand to a wider audience. (Risma)
