Consumer voices are one of the important sources for ParagonCorp in developing products and innovations. Through various interactions with consumers, communities, beauty influencers, as well as research and development in the laboratory, the company strives to understand changing needs and translate them into more relevant products.

Deputy CEO and Chief R&D Officer of ParagonCorp, dr. Sari Chairunnisa, Sp.D.V.E., FINSDV, said that understanding consumers is an important part of the innovation process, from formulas and technology to the user experience.

“For us, understanding consumers is an important part of the innovation process. What they experience, need, and expect is one of the inputs we use to examine issues more deeply,” said Sari.

These insights are then applied to various ParagonCorp product lines, each with different consumer characteristics and needs. At LABORÉ, for example, product development is directed at consumers with sensitive skin, taking into account both effectiveness and comfort of use.

Through BiomeRepair TopiCalm Cream, LABORÉ uses Encapsulated Microbiome Technology and Vitamin B12 to help soothe the skin. Meanwhile, GentleBiome Mild Cleanser was developed with a non-soap, non-foam formula that is free from SLS/SLES and has a pH of 5.5.

For skin protection needs, BiomeProtect Physical Sunscreen uses the mineral filters Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide as an alternative sunscreen for consumers with sensitive skin needs.

A consumer insight-based approach is also applied to other brands. Tavi was developed by taking into account the characteristics of Generation Z consumers, who want products that are effective, practical, gentle, and suited to their lifestyles, including products that combine skincare and makeup functions.

Meanwhile, Emina continues to update its understanding of young consumers through interactions with communities, one of which is Emina Girl Gang Ambassador (EGGA). Kahf, meanwhile, was developed in response to men’s growing attention to personal care that is practical, functional, and relevant to everyday activities.

The use of technology also expands the ways ParagonCorp obtains insights. During the Beauty Science Tech event, consumers can use AI-powered skin diagnostic technology to obtain an overview of their skin condition, such as dehydration, pigmentation, and sensitivity.

For ParagonCorp, combining consumer data and experiences with research and development capabilities is part of its effort to deliver innovations that are increasingly personal and relevant.

This approach is in line with the theme of Hari Pelanggan Nasional 2026, “Karena Kamu Berarti”. The theme emphasizes that customers’ voices, stories, experiences, and trust are part of ParagonCorp’s journey in understanding needs and developing innovations. (Henry)
